        Forum sites or message board is an online discussion site where people can hold convesations in the forums of the posted messages. It is also known as the Internet Forum. A forum can contain number of sub forums within a forum's topic each new disscussion started it is called thread and it can be replied by as many people as so which. A forum can be devided into categories based on the discussion. A sub forum also be contain number of sub forums, these sub forums contains categories base on the discussion topic. The lowest level of the forum sites are called threads.

The theads also devided into three types they are:

1. Non Threaded

2.Semi Threaded

3.Fully Threaded

          Each message in the board comes under one of these three threaded. The threads has own advantages and disadvantages. If messages are not related to one another at all a Non-Threaded format is best. If a user has a message topic and multiple replies to that message topic a semi-threaded format is best. If a user has a message topic and replies to that message topic, and replies to replies, then a fully threaded format is best.

        But the draw back of forums is the directory submission is great as compare to the forum sites why because all the forum sites does not provide the facility of follow links and having many rectrictions to counter spamming and missus of forum but directory having the follow links and having less rectrictions and it have less chance to counter spamming.
